Provider Satisfaction Increases in 2007

Because your input is vital to improving how we do business, Magellan assesses your satisfaction annually through our Provider Satisfaction Survey. In 2007, we found that Nebraska providers’ overall satisfaction was at 96 percent, an increase from 94 percent in 2006.

Continue to provide opportunities for providers to give input into Magellan processes.

Contact Dianne Scott, our family and consumer advocate, with your input on Magellan processes. She then takes your suggestions to our stakeholder advisory group for review. Contact Dianne at 402-437-4220 or DEScott@MagellanHealth.com.

Encourage providers to have all new members sign a consent form to allow an exchange of information with their primary care provider (PCP).

Magellan’s Vicki Beth Blattert can provide you with an electronic version of a consent form allowing contact with primary care providers. Contact Vicki to request a copy of the consent form at 402-427-4225 or VBBlattert@MagellanHealth.com.

Continue to educate providers on how to file a formal complaint.

Our quality improvement (QI) department accepts your verbal and/or written complaints. We will resolve all complaints within 30 days of the date received by Magellan. Call 1-800-424-0333 and ask for the QI department, or write to Magellan Health Services, P.O. Box 82407, Lincoln, NE 68501-2047.
