EAP Profiles Show Improvement
By now, all of Magellan’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers have received their 2007 EAP provider profile. Overall results demonstrated improvement in all four of the focus areas measured – average number of sessions, cases reaching maximum sessions, case resolution rate and chemical dependency identification rate.
We are excited to be able to offer the 2007 EAP provider profile with revisions based on provider feedback from previous years. We were especially pleased to see the improvement in your alcohol and other drug use screening and assessment documentation reflected in the 2007 report.
Magellan will continue to send you an annual profile. We remain committed to offering our providers feedback about their EAP practice as an aspect of our continuous quality improvement program.
