New EASI Form Now Can Be Faxed
As a result of input received from EAP providers, Magellan recently made yet another change to help reduce your administrative time.
You now can fax the recently streamlined Employee Assistance Service Information (EASI) form directly to 1-800-858-2771 (in California 310-726-7055), reducing the turnaround time from submission to payment.
EAP claims staff will continue to process EASI forms received by mail.
The EASI form is the document that EAP providers complete for each member they treat to obtain reimbursement from Magellan for EAP services. In addition, the multipurpose EASI form measures EAP interventions, outcomes and effectiveness, and allows us to collect aggregate statistical information, which is critical for identifying EAP trends and for future planning.
