Vermont Providers to Receive Biannual Practice Data Update Requests

Magellan continuously strives to maintain the most updated database possible. As a network provider, your demographic, specialty, and availability data is vital to ensuring we provide the most accurate information for referral and claims payment purposes. Magellan now is requesting written verification of this information from Vermont providers biannually, to comply with Vermont’s Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities & Health Care Administration’s (BISCHA) rule 10.207.

If you do not provide requisite information, Magellan cannot list you in BlueCross BlueShield of Vermont’s provider directory or on our provider lists for members. As always, Magellan is committed to making sure your most up-to-date practice information is represented consistently, and we look forward to assisting you in this process if needed.
