Pennsylvania Care Management Centers Receive Awards

Magellan’s Newtown, Pa., Care Management Center recently received the 2008 Corporate Citizen of the Year award from Family Service Association (FSA) of Bucks County; the Newtown center and the Lehigh Valley Care Management Center also received Magellan corporate awards for clinical excellence.

FSA recognized Magellan as Corporate Citizen of the Year for working with them to develop peer counseling and in-school mental health services.

At Magellan’s annual behavioral health clinical leadership conference – a program designed to share best practices companywide and discuss emerging behavioral health trends and issues – our two Pennsylvania care management centers received awards for operational excellence, presented by Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, the event’s keynote speaker.
