As a part of Magellan’s ongoing commitment to service and innovation, we recently launched a website for members and providers participating in the Iowa Plan for Behavioral Health. The site, www.MagellanofIowa.com, includes useful features for both providers and consumers, including online training information, a calendar of upcoming events, links to community resources and recent news from Magellan of Iowa.
For providers, the site features details about and links to all the resources you need to provide care through the Iowa Plan. For example, you’ll find links to the provider handbook, utilization management and clinical practice guidelines, as well as links to check eligibility and claims. You’ll also find information about the appeals process, as well as the forms you need to provide care through the Iowa Plan.
