Southwest Provider Relations Team Can Assist with Online Training

Last year, the Southwest Care Management Center realized a 27 percent increase in online treatment request form (TRF) submissions and a 7 percent rise in the number of claims submitted to Magellan electronically by providers. These increases illustrate that many of you already know the advantages of submitting TRFs and claims via www.MagellanHealth.com/provider, such as faster turnaround times for both authorizations and claims payment, less paperwork, more efficient status tracking, and less environmental waste.

But, for those providers still unsure about making the switch, did you know the Southwest Care Management Center has a dedicated provider relations team available to assist with submitting claims or TRFs online? 

This seasoned team includes a licensed, masters-level regional field network director and a network manager—both with 10 years tenure at Magellan—as well as 11 field network coordinators with tenure at Magellan ranging from three to 15 years. These provider relations professionals have an average of approximately 12 years in the industry and are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Central) to answer your questions.
