Magellan Offers Free Continuing Education Credits
Essential Learning Adds New Courses Often
At Magellan, we understand the value of knowledge. That is why we offer free continuing education credits to our contracted providers through our online education partner, Essential Learning.
Essential Learning is the largest provider of e-learning services to the behavioral health and human services industry. Providers who successfully complete Essential Learning courses earn CEUs recognized by national accreditation and certification bodies such as the:
- American Psychological Association (APA)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
- National Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC)
- National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
- Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA)
- Numerous other national and state organizations.
To access Essential Learning, sign in securely on this provider website with your username and password, then choose the top-menu item “Education” then “CEUs and CMEs.” If you have not previously signed in to the Magellan provider site, click on the “New User” link. If you have forgotten your password, click the “Forgot Password?” link in the sign-in box. Please refer to the Essential Learning User Guide for registration and course selection instructions. Be sure to fully complete the registration information, including your MIS number, in order to receive your CEU credits.
Please note: When you register for courses and put them in your “Cart,” you will see the tuition cost of each course. Your Magellan discount (100%) will be applied at Checkout so that all courses are free-of-charge to you.
