Making HIPAA Work

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), impacts the way we do business, our electronic systems, our business relationships, and our corporate culture. We understand that HIPAA regulations affect health plans and providers alike and we are committed to working closely with you, our providers, to make sure we achieve adequate and timely compliance.

To that end, Magellan has commissioned a dedicated HIPAA Project Management Office (PMO), under the umbrella of our Corporate Compliance Department, which spearheads the planning and coordination of our far-reaching compliance activities.
