Doctors HealthCare Plans

Effective Jan. 1, 2026, Magellan will no longer manage the behavioral health services for Doctors HealthCare Plans members.

To continue as an in-network provider serving these members on and after Jan. 1, 2026, you’ll need to follow Doctors HealthCare Plans' processes to become a contracted provider. Email [email protected] or call Network Development at 786-578-0940. 

For dates of service through Dec. 31, 2025, continue with current processes via Magellan. For dates of service on and after Jan. 1, 2026, verify eligibility and benefits, obtain prior authorization, and submit claims following Doctors HealthCare Plans' processes.

Cultural Competency Training

Magellan asks that you to complete cultural competency training with all staff. Completing the attestation will help your practice/group/organization stand out as a culturally competent provider in Magellan’s provider search for members.

  1. Access our short intro to cultural competency (PDF), or complete other training of your choice. 
  2. Attest to completing cultural competency training. Your attestation should take less than 1 minute to complete. You will need your MIS number to complete the attestation.

Florida facilities: Targeted case management and community behavioral health services for dual-eligible special needs plans (D-SNP)

Magellan no longer manages targeted case management (TCM) and community behavioral health (CBH) services for Doctors HealthCare Plan members of Medicare Advantage dual-eligible special needs plans (D-SNP). Contact the health plan for authorizations and claims.
