Autism Spectrum Disorders

With the identification of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) increasing dramatically nationwide, coverage and services are expanding. Magellan offers the resources below to help you serve children and adults with autism as well as support their families and caregivers.

Some states or plans, such as Pennsylvania, may have specific credentialing criteria or additional regional requirements. Please consult your local network representative if you have questions.

Free parent ABA training through Relias

If you know of families who need additional ABA support during COVID-19, spread the word! 

Relias has developed a free training plan to help parents feel more confident in their ability to support their children with autism spectrum disorder.

The training plan, available free on Relias Academy through June 2020, includes:

  • Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Imitation and Joint Attention
  • Increasing Behavior
  • Naturalistic Teaching Strategies

Note: Parents will need to create a log in to complete the course.
