Sharp Health Plan

Effective Jan. 1, 2026, Magellan* no longer manages the behavioral health services for Sharp Health Plan members.

To continue as an in-network provider serving these members on and after Jan. 1, 2026, you’ll need to follow Sharp Health Plan's processes to become a contracted provider. Sharp Health Plan is transitioning to OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions of California; contact the Optum Provider Service Line at 1-877-614-0484. 

For dates of service through Dec. 31, 2025, follow Magellan's processes. For dates of service on and after Jan. 1, 2026, verify eligibility and benefits, obtain prior authorization, and submit claims following Sharp Health Plan's/Optum's processes.
