Substance Use Treatment

In 2024, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) reported that 48.4 million individuals aged 12 and older (approximately 16.8% of the population) had experienced a substance use disorder (SUD). The percentage of people 12 or older with a drug use disorder in the past year increased from 8.7% in 2021 to 9.8% in 2024. This highlights the urgent need for comprehensive and continuous care for individuals living with SUDs.
